One of our church members forwarded this wonderful and powerful rendition of “Amazing Grace”, sung by Il Divo.
Listen and worship the Lord!
P.S. Don’t forget to send me your top 3 hymns/songs. I’ve only received a few responses thus far

For many of the early years in my Christian faith, “Amazing Grace” was my favorite Hymn. It spoke to my self-deceived, wretched existence without Christ, and the eternal hope I have in Christ – particularly the last stanza when 10,000 years are contrasted with “no less days to sing God’s praise”
But, ever since I first heart the reframe to “And Can It Be That I Shold Gain”, specifically: “Amazing love! How can it be that thou, my God, shouldst die for me?” I at least tear up, sometimes weep, and generally can’t finish signing it all the way through. The contrasts throughout: the immortal dies; its a mystery – yet explained in the Hymn; I created the pain – but He died; imprisoned spirit – but now my heart is free, captures the mystery of it all for me.
I think the way this song is sung actually dramatically changes the impact it can have. This rendition was *powerful*, especially with (I never thought I’d say this…) the bagpipes! It emphasizes and accentuates the glories to which this song points…
Here are three favorites…I can’t say that they are my most favorite since I like a lot of them.
